Jennifer has built a successful practice in the field of civil litigation. A dedicated and passionate advocate, Jennifer represents clients in various matters including family law, civil litigation, medical malpractice, wrongful death and personal injury claims, construction and property disputes. Jennifer also handles real estate transactions.
Jennifer is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the State of Vermont, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Vermont and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She has served on numerous community boards, including the Clarina Howard Nichols Center and Revitalizing Waterbury.
Lajoie & Taylor’s only Stowe native, Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Vermont in 1993. In 1996, she moved to San Francisco seeking a large firm experience. While in California, Jennifer worked for prominent law firms as well as the Administrative Law Judge Division of the California Public Utilities Commission. Upon returning to Vermont, Jennifer worked at one of Burlington, Vermont’s leading firms before joining Barr & Associates, P.C. as a law clerk. Jennifer completed Vermont’s four-year law office study program and passed the Vermont Bar Exam in February 2000. In 2014, Jennifer formed Horsley Lajoie Goldfine LLC, the predecessor to Lajoie & Taylor PLLC.
Ashley W. Taylor

Ashley is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Vermont and is a member of the Vermont Bar Association. Ashley graduated summa cum laude from Colby College in 1992 and obtained a Master of Science as a Graduate College Social Science Fellow at the University of Vermont. She graduated first in her class from Vermont Law School in 2002, where she served as the Vermont Editor on the Vermont Law Review. She is also a trained mediator through Champlain College/Woodbury Institute.
Ashley has lived in Stowe for over twenty years and is currently serving as a hearing panel member for the Vermont Professional Responsibility Program.

Lisa is a native Vermonter. While she grew up in the Northeast Kingdom, she has lived on either side of Mt. Mansfield since 1998.
